  • Microsoft is no longer manufacturing the add-on camera, Co.Design reports.
  • Blizzard’s Battle.net app now has a gifting function, so you can send in-game items such as Hearthstone card packs to friends.
  • Nintendo hasn’t publicly announced it, but GameCube controllers are now supported by Switch as of the console’s recent 4.0 update.
  • Valve has introduced Steam Gift Cards, so you can send Steam Wallet currency to a friend.
  • A community of former NeoGAF members has worked together to launch a replacement gaming forum, ResetEra.
  • A new digital-only Persona 5: Ultimate Edition bundle for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 – which includes all currently released DLC – is now available on the PlayStation Store.
  • Rockstar’s released a new trailer for L.A. Noire that’s presented in 4K.
  • Gears of War 4’s campaign at 60 frames per second – if you choose performance mode.
  • Mass Effect: Annihilation, a new novel set that expands the story of Mass Effect: Andromeda, is coming next year.
  • Konami has announced the PC version of Metal Gear Survive launches alongside the console versions on 22nd February 2018. All versions cost £34.99.
  • Peter “ComboFiend” Rosas has parted ways with Capcom.
  • For Xbox Insiders in the Alpha ring, the Microsoft Store now enables gifting of most digital Xbox One games
  • Insomniac CEO Ted Price has once again explained that his company is open to making a sequel to Sunset Overdrive, but would “need a partner for that”.
  • Konami has announced the PC version of Metal Gear Survive launches alongside the console versions on 22nd February 2018. All versions cost £34.99.
  • Max: The Curse of Brotherhood will be released for PlayStation 4 next month.
  • Ubisoft has announced a South Park: The Fractured But Whole free trial will be available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4
