  • Gigantic, the free-to-play shooter currently in open beta, is getting a full release on July 20 on Windows 10, Steam and Xbox One – the Founder’s Pack has been discounted from $40 USD to $30. The Founder’s Pack includes “access to all 18 current heroes,” as well as two heroes not yet revealed and “additional unique rewards.”

  • Bethesda revealed The Evil Within 2 at its E3 2017 Showcase. The Evil Within 2 follows Japanese-developer Tango Gameworks’ original 2014 survival horror game, which was led by Resident Evil-creator Shinji Mikami. It will launch October 13 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
  • Microsoft announced that backwards compatibility for original Xbox games will come to Xbox One later this year – Phil Spencer said “We can support the discs, which was actually a technically achievement for the team.
  • PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds may still eventually come to PlayStation 4. Statement – “We’re excited to announce that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is coming to Xbox One. We’re always looking at various platforms to potentially introduce our game, but have nothing further to announce at this time.”
